Overview

Our Commercial Electricians manage the completion of various electrical tasks including: electrical breaks and repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service upgrades for our customers while working without on-site supervision. Technicians will also attend trade schools and/or our internal training classes as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Attend third year of apprentice school
  • Work on all electrical wiring for foodservice equipment
  • Install all parts on equipment that the department works on including exhaust equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance

  • Perform on call duty in rotation with department
  • Work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customer
  • Maintain safe driving habits at all times while operating company provided fleet vehicle
  • Perform manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices
  • Operate basic hand and power tools

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical service and repair   
  • CFESA certified electrical technician  
  • Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Basic control wiring knowledge
  • Proficient with hand tools, job related specialty tools, and power tools
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Great work ethic (hard working and always on-time)
  • Good computer skills
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
