    Job Description: 

    Tech-24 is seeking an experienced part time Administrative Assistant for a prominent company in foodservice repair industry. This position will assist our Dispatcher in all office functions of the San Diego branch. The perfect candidate will be available to work 8 hour shifts while the Dispatcher is out and work an on-call dispatching rotation.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
    • Answer incoming calls from customers and technicians
    • Assist in day to day running of San Diego branch office
    • Enter and schedule jobs for technicians
    • Dispatch technicians at the direction of the manager
    • Create professional written estimates of pending jobs
    • Follow-up with customers as needed
    • Maintain office supplies for department
    • Monitor and reconcile warehouse inventory 
    • Assist in scheduling physical inventories of warehouse and service vehicles
    • Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
    • Work on-call rotation 
    • Fill in for full time Dispatcher as needed

    Qualifications

    • High school graduate/GED or the equivalent
    • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to speak effectively with customers and employees
    • Dispatching experience is a plus
    • Fast and accurate data entry skills
    • Detailed, dependable and honest professional
    • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Advance in Word and Excel with the ability to adapt quickly to custom software
    • Observe all company procedures and safety rules
    • Must be able to work on-call and an 8 hour shift as needed
