    Tech-24 is in need of a Dispatcher for our Houston branch. Our growing foodservice repair business is looking for a Dispatcher who can help us create a more productive work environment, while ensuring that our clients get the support they need. The ideal candidate for this position is an organized, detail-oriented individual who is able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.     The Dispatcher is a vital position that provides support to both our Branch Manager and technicians. The Dispatcher is responsible for the day to day office functions, as well as, dispatching technicians to their daily service calls from our customers.


    • Dispatch pending service jobs to the field technician’s cell phone and GPS system.
    • Routing technician’s schedules.
    • Assist in day to day running of branch office.
    • Calling customers with appointment times.
    • Provides the highest level of service to the customer and professionally communicate the service needed to Customers and Technicians.
    • Communicate with Customers and department head to assure that our goal of on-time professional service is reached on every service call.
    • Distribute calls in a way that maximizes company productivity but with a focus on good departmental fairness.
    • Document the job status and invoice number when the technician completes the job.
    • Establish follow-ups with the department of any jobs that require a return visit.
    • Handle multiple calls at one time.
    • Quickly and efficiently learn the dispatch software and customer master in the Company’s business system.
    • Provide positive interactions with our technicians and the administrative staff.
    • Create estimates for jobs as needed.
    • Monitor and reconcile warehouse inventory.
    • Provide back up when the Branch Manager is out of the office.
    • Work rotational on-call as needed.


    • High school diploma/GED or the equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years of dispatching experience.
    • Previous dispatching experience in the HVAC and/or food service industry is a plus.
    • Detailed, dependable and honest professional with the ability to type quickly and accurately.
    • Proficient customer service skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Proficient computer skills. (Microsoft Office Suite, Excell, ect.)
    • Excellent data entry skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to multitask is a must.
    • Must be motivated, a self-started, and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision.
    • Must be able to work rotational on-call as needed.
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
