    The Market Sales Manager will increase sales through new business development and existing accounts. Primary responsibility is to increase sales to new and existing customers, ensure customer satisfaction and retention, and create profitable results in market(s) assigned.


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Implement sales plan within assigned territory to increase sales of PM’s and reactive service to target customer(s) in existing markets and new markets.
    • Make professional presentations to inform and sell our programs and services to prospects.
    • Meet sales and margin goals and objectives.
    • Work with local branches to renew PM program agreements.
    • Establish and maintain long term relationships with all levels of management to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and repeat sales.
    • Establish and build rapport with field service technicians.
    • Network with Core Business equipment dealers, Market Managers, and manufacturers’ representatives and suppliers to increase referrals.
    • Assist operations in the clarification and resolution of customers’ concerns regarding our services.
    • Professionally and consistently deliver our “brand” message.
    • Continually expand and update customer referral portfolio.
    • Develop and assist with special projects/opportunities as required.


    Knowledge/Skills and Ability

    • Maintain honest and ethical methods to achieve the targets and goals of the company.
    • Computer skills to extract and assimilate data from the computer software.
    • Computer skills including developing Excel spreadsheets and using Microsoft Word to write letters and memos. Experience in presenting PowerPoint presentations.
    • Ability to work remotely with laptop computer and effectively communicate at all employee levels through multiple communication tools (voicemail, e-mail, cell phone). Must have strong telephone skills to deal with variety of circumstances and situations with customers, suppliers, and other daily activities.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
    • Able to meet deadlines and pay close attention to details.
    • Time Management skills with the ability manage multiple projects.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance.


    Education, Experience and Other Requirements:

    • Minimum of High School Diploma.
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in sales.
    • A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
    • Experience in the restaurant industry preferred.

    • Must be able to solve problems and determine the best course of action.
    • Must be able to handle conflict and make effective decisions under stress.
    • Must be able to interact with co-workers, customers, and branch personnel.


    Physical Demands:

    • Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching.
    • Sitting in auto for extended periods.
    • May require lifting up to 50 pounds.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
    • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate computers/office equipment.
    • Travel 60 – 75% of your time
